Do these four villages of Atwals have anything common ? Do the inhabitants of these village visit each others ? Is it true that all the Atwals have to do something to do with Pharala ?

There are not only four villages. There are about 113 villages where atwals from Pharala have migrated to.Here are few of those villages: Anokharwal, Behram, Mahalon, Jadhala, Kalaam, Bersiaan, Badaba, Bagorana, Rahon (Jaildaran di family) , Dusanjhan, Malley. These all villagesare in or near Distt. Nawanshahar. Ugh-chiti, Khurdpur, Daduwal, Kotabundi, Floar, Talwan, humbadi, some in the state of UP, Jamsher,Kharagpur, Asansol, Atwal Nagar. The sons of the Boota Singh, made Atwal Nagar in Asansol, and their names are the oldest-Gurbachan Singh, and the youngest Surjit Sinch. In this pind they have hospital and college. Both brothers had been MLA of Namwasahar District as well. |

THERE WAS ONE MAN WHO HAD FOUR SONS AND FOUR SONS ARE FOUNDER OF FOUR VILLAGES. THAT IS WHAT IS COMMON. ALL ATWALS OR ATHWALS HAD ONE BLOOD. |

AS WE READ BEFORE IN LOT OF VILLAGES ATWALS ARE SETTELED. MOST OF THEM ARE PHARALAVI. SAMETHING IS WITH DOLAT PUR. THEY ARE PHARALAVI. WE ARE REALLY PROUD OF THIS THING THAT THERE ARE SO MANY PHARALAVI IN OTHER VILLAGES. GREAT THING IS ALL OF US WE THINK ABOUT EACH OTHER AND THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE DONATING MONEY IN THE NAME OF PHARALA . I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT PHARALA AS THEIR NATIVE VILLAGE AND ADOPTED VILLAGE AS SECONDARY ONE. ALL THE ATWAL HAS TO DO SOMETHING WITH PHARALA. |

No one here mentioned village of Atwals in district Hoshiapur, Called "Lohe Wali Pandori". This village is about 2-miles from Garhdiwala, originally atwals moved from Dholbaha, hoshiarpur over a couple of centuries ago to settle in Pandori Atwalan. Also, I was told that, there were two brothers Dhola and Pheru originally lived and were raised in Dholbaha (named after Dhola), After a fierce battle with locals, Pheru moved from Dholbaha and established a new village and named it Pharala. All the family of Dhola were murdered in that battle and one of the pregnant daughter-in law survived because she had gone to here parents in Sikri Pind (located near road between Hoshiarpur to Tanda Urmar). New kid was born and when he grew older he established the villiage of Lohe Wali Pandori, I was told. Generations after, there was our grand grand father named Hazari in Pandori, had seven strong sons and 3 or 4 daughters (our grand parents) I know of, who lived in Pandri. At this time all heirs, their grandsons and great grand sons are settled in England, USA and Canada. If any body knows more or anything different than this, please add to it or post your information. Sat Siri Akal to all ATWALS, I am proud to be an ATWAL Thanks Kulwant Singh Atwal P.E. Dallas, Texas, USA |

Sat sri Akal, Thank you all for the feedback on information provided, on this website by our Families who were originally from Pharala. I am talking about the article in the front page listed as Family Tree. This information was provided by lot of individuals who are not with us physically anymore. I would like to add to the family tree as many families as we can because as most of you know we are all linked to FOUR brothers one way or other. So if you have a comprehensive Family tree, lets put it together. Some of our Great Grand parents moved to Pakistan and came back and settled in so many other Villages. By the way does anyone from Lyalpur or any other place in Pakistan know when our Great Grand parents went there to settle. I was told it was somewhere in 1850.
